About The Position

As a Security Professional – Healthcare Site - Full Time in Gardendale, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate for the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.
