As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will focus on monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will play a key part in fostering a welcoming and secure environment, embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, caring, and integrity while delivering reliable and innovative service every day.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to incidents and emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff in the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, following Allied Universal protocols for documentation and communication.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies to help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol and/or when performing assigned duties in the healthcare location.
