About The Position

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific procedures.
  • Collaborate with staff and emergency responders as needed to support security-related protocols and emergency response efforts.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff within the healthcare location.
