As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to enforce facility protocols.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site policies.
