About The Position

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Your role involves conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will respond to incidents as needed, document your observations, and communicate clearly with both team members and those you assist. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support to staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals at the location.
