As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document observations and incidents accurately and thoroughly according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and report concerns promptly to the appropriate contacts.
Support access control measures by verifying credentials and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.
