As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas such as hospitals and specialized departments. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and support the healthcare team as needed. Requirements

Vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
Assignment may include duties in a hospital morgue.
Assignment may require restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local emergency services when responding to incidents and/or emergencies.
