Requirements

  • Availability across various days and shifts

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, students, and visitors at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
