As a Security Professional - Government Site Patrol Full-Time in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will play a key role in providing peace of mind for all on site. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related matters to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the government facility.
Follow all directions from site supervisors and adhere to established protocols for the assigned location.
Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site policies.
