About The Position

As a Security Professional - Front Desk Patrol in Lexington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing helpful information to guests and staff. You will use your customer service skills and comfort with technology to support security-related operations, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Requirements

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and client personnel as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming environment.
