As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine checks, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain security-related protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and orderly environment.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
