About The Position

As a Security Professional - Financial Patrol - Full Time in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution setting, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location as required.
• Support emergency response protocols including evacuations or lockdowns as needed.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
