As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening processes and security-related activities.
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support security-related objectives and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
