As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be a key point of contact, using your strong communication skills to address inquiries and support the overall well-being of the site. Requirements

• A valid TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and delivery personnel as part of daily screening responsibilities.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as directed by site protocols.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual or suspicious activity at the location.
