About The Position

As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication skills. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in loss prevention is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with visitor management, including signing in guests and providing information or directions as required.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with building tenants, employees, and/or visitors.
  • Support Allied Universal management by reporting any security-related issues or concerns observed at the front desk area.
