As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills, following all site-specific procedures.
