As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the security-related operations of the location.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns or incidents as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations according to site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
