About The Position

As a Security Professional - Chemical Site - Full Time in Rosharon, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• An active Department of Defense Confidential security clearance is required.
• A minimum of six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and prior driving experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining awareness of the unique hazards present in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or concerns observed during patrols or while on post.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents or emergencies in line with Allied Universal protocols.
