As a Security Professional - Chemical Plant - Part Time in Ellabell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to areas specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials of personnel and visitors entering the location.
  • Assist with incident documentation and communication as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency situations.
  • Adhere to all site-specific instructions and procedures related to security-related operations within chemical and petrochemical settings.
