About The Position

As a Security Professional - Chemical Patrol in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license issued in the state of employment is required for driving positions.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Previous firefighting experience is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor for compliance with site access protocols and report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed logs and documentation of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
  • Assist with the implementation of emergency protocols as needed within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
