Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
- Assist staff, students, and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional Allied Universal presence.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel if required, following established Allied Universal procedures.
