As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site supervisors.
  • Maintain a professional presence while representing Allied Universal at the location.
