As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your responsibilities with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service to clients within a food and beverage distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations as required by post orders and client expectations.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and interactions according to company and client requirements.
