About The Position

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government in New London, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all site-specific protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports on patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required.
