About The Position

As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Security in Lihue, HI, you’ll serve on the front line of aviation security—ensuring public safety, safeguarding airport facilities, and upholding the spirit of aloha through professional service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Law Enforcement Officer License.
• 22+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence as an armed security professional.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, ready to respond to any security-related incidents or requests for assistance.
