As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail environment, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required according to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards according to company protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or disruptive behavior within the retail environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Document all security-related activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
