About The Position

As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond promptly to situations and provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification required for positions in Texas.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access points and assist with the enforcement of facility policies regarding entry and exit.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management as needed, especially during peak times or special events.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
