As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

• Must possess a current and valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the government facility.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Adhere to all company and site-specific policies and procedures while on duty.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related risks.
