About The Position

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, remaining alert to potential security-related issues.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the government facility.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, adhering to protocols for armed security-related posts.
• Remain prepared to respond to security-related threats and/or emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and professional judgment as an armed security professional.
