As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer at this healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and help to deter entry by unauthorized individuals, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are present on the premises.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptive behavior within the healthcare environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Collaborate with medical staff and visitors to promote a secure atmosphere tailored to the unique needs of a healthcare location.
Remain armed and prepared to respond appropriately to security-related situations in accordance with training and company policy.
