Requirements

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or possess an Associates Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.
• Answer questions and provide directions or information to visitors and employees as needed.
