About The Position

As a Security Professional - Aero Front Desk Patrol in Elkridge, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and location procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by the site.
  • Assist in emergency response activities when appropriate, communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the front desk area.
