About The Position

As a Security Professional Access Control Manufacturing in York, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining a visible presence and adhering to all assigned post orders and procedures.
