As an Allied Universal team member assigned to access control at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol the property, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will interact with residents and visitors, remain visible throughout your assigned area, and use technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the residential location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, communicating clearly with all parties involved.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.
