As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This post is primarily driving and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

• A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activity observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
