As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Calhoun, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will be a key part of a team that values reliability, integrity, and putting people first, making a positive impact every day through communication and collaboration.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor and control entry and exit points at the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
