About The Position

As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your visible presence will help maintain a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license under Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor access control points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related procedures for the premises.
  • Verify identification and manage visitor and employee entry consistent with location policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, guests, and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related issues.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, or breaches according to site-specific guidelines.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
