Position Overview: Teddy Morse’s Daytona Harley-Davidson, part of the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is currently seeking a Part Time Security Personnel at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona.
Requirements
- Previous security or customer-service-related experience preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular safety checks, including doors, windows, equipment, and restricted areas.
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Assist guests and employees with security-related concerns in a courteous, professional manner.
- Enforce property rules and regulations while maintaining a calm, approachable presence.
- Operate surveillance cameras and security systems as required.
- Work closely with management and local authorities when necessary.
- Support evacuation or emergency procedures, including fire alarms and medical events.
- Perform escorts for staff or guests when requested.
- Exemplify the Forbes Hamilton Standards of Excellence.
