About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Requirements

• Preferably Supervisor or Post Commander experience
• Valid Driver License and good driving record required
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Oversee inspections, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations across assigned accounts
• Collaborate with MSS, CSMs, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to develop and manage staffing schedules and fill open shifts
• Provide hands-on leadership, including recruiting new supervisors and promoting Special Response Officers (SROs) for career advancement
• Occasionally fill account posts for specific shifts and deliver patrol services to designated accounts
• Foster a culture of servant leadership and employee engagement by modeling the company's core values and promoting high performance standards
• Achieve key goals, such as 100% shift coverage, regular personnel inspections and training, and recruiting to maintain full staffing levels
• Become proficient in all company software systems related to onboarding, scheduling, and financial operations
• Ensure 100% compliance with GardaWorld's mandatory requirements and operational standards
