As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver customer-focused assistance to staff and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted access areas; assist with visitor management, badge checks, and/or directing guests and employees according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support from site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Document patrol activity, unusual conditions, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership during shift transitions.
