About The Position

As a Security Officer in Manchester, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and rapid response across the site. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors and/or visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Perform vehicle and/or pedestrian screening as required, including directing traffic flow and documenting arrivals and departures.
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as access control, intrusion alarms, intercoms and/or CCTV, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs and/or patrol documentation with accurate, timely information.
Communicate and coordinate with site contacts, visitors, contractors and/or emergency responders as needed to support incident response and routine operations.
Conduct perimeter checks and interior rounds to identify unsecured doors, gates, sensitive areas and/or suspicious conditions, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
Support enforcement of location rules related to restricted areas, photography limitations, prohibited items and/or controlled deliveries, in alignment with site-specific policies.
