Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Mount Juliet, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will remain highly visible, promote a welcoming atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and first aid are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
- Document security-related incidents and activities in accordance with site protocols.
