About The Position

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Driver in Rosharon, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will spend much of your shift driving assigned routes, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, document observations, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Confidential clearance is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor check-in, and directing deliveries and contractors per site requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and escalation per site procedures.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs, document patrol observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
