About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer. In this role, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is crucial. You will be required to have a keen sense of observation, which is one of the greatest strengths needed for this position. As a Tactical Security Officer, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling various environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

Requirements

• Preferably located in the San Fernando Valley area.
• Valid Driver License and good driving record required.
• Preferably Field Supervisor or Site Supervisor experience.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• Be able to pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.

• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations across assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with MSS, CSMs, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to develop and manage staffing schedules and fill open shifts.
• Provide hands-on leadership, including recruiting new supervisors and promoting Special Response Officers (SROs) for career advancement.
• Occasionally fill account posts for specific shifts and deliver patrol services to designated accounts.
• Foster a culture of servant leadership and employee engagement by modeling the company's core values and promoting high performance standards.
• Achieve key goals, such as 100% shift coverage, regular personnel inspections and training, and recruiting to maintain full staffing levels.
• Become proficient in all company software systems related to onboarding, scheduling, and financial operations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with GardaWorld's mandatory requirements and operational standards.
