About The Position

As a Security Patrol Driver Mall Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, entrances, storefront perimeters, and other assigned sections of the location to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with directional support and crowd management, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine interaction.
• Support retail operations by observing for hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior, then communicating findings to management or public emergency responders when needed.
