About The Position

We are hiring a Part-time Security Officer for MidAmerican Energy Center at 7215 Navajo Street in Council Bluffs, IA. You will maintain the facility's security by checking in visitors, vendors, and contractors. This includes issuing access badges and performing regular foot / mobile patrols throughout the property. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Prior Security experience preferred, but not required, or customer service background
• Comfortable using technology devices and must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, and work in all weather elements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
