About The Position

The Security Operations Supervisor 2 position at the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is a full-time, permanent management role responsible for overseeing hospital security operations. This includes managing budget and fiscal projections, developing policies and protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The supervisor will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance security processes and maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one year of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record and valid Driver's License from state of residency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to FBI Criminal Justice Information Service systems through a national fingerprint-based Criminal History Record check.
  • Demonstrated competency in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily hospital security operations including perimeter patrol, contraband search and seizure, and access control.
  • Develop and implement policies and protocols for security operations.
  • Collaborate with Safety & Security Administration to improve processes and gather data.
  • Conduct data analysis to ensure compliance with regulations set forth by The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
  • Ensure the integrity of the secured perimeter and manage visitation processing and investigations.
  • Respond to emergent codes and manage court and admission processes.
