About The Position

The Security Operations Manager at Sunstates Security is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of contract sites in the Raleigh, NC region. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• 5 or more years of management and leadership experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong portfolio management skills.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office products.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to travel and visit site locations regularly in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area.
• Flexibility to be on call as needed during all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of contract sites including customer service and personnel management.
• Train, develop, and motivate supervisory staff to oversee site security personnel effectively.
• Supervise Site Managers and Site Supervisors.
• Oversee the employee onboarding process including interviewing, training, and paperwork.
• Train subordinate supervisors on software systems and company policies.
• Coordinate operational functions including payroll, billing, staffing, and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits and audits as part of the Quality Assurance program.
• Work with the Regional Manager to establish and communicate regional goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify new business opportunities.
