As a Security Operations Center Watch Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive situational awareness and managing real-time security events, serving as the security representative and primary point of contact during incident responses and crises where security is involved. As a core member of the Waymo Security Operations Center (WaySOC), your first priority is the continuous monitoring of our global operational environment. You will manage security events with precision and technical proficiency, ensuring that physical security interests are represented in cross-functional efforts while maintaining the judgment to escalate complex matters to leadership when necessary. This role is shift based and is required to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays onsite within a 24/7/365 operations center. This role will report to the Waymo Security Operations Center Operations Manager.
