About The Position
The SOC Operator is responsible for proactively monitoring all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. This role involves assisting with security investigations as required and completing incident reports. The SOC Operator must accurately document routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities through established methods such as shift reports, pass-down logs, and incident report logs. Additionally, the operator will handle complaints and critical event information promptly, communicating with the Shift Supervisor, GSOC Manager, and Security Director. The position requires responding to events received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms, providing clear direction and guidance during emergencies. The SOC Operator will also monitor and respond to all security and life safety system alarms, make emergency notifications as necessary, and control two-way communication systems. Coordination of incident response between law enforcement, onsite security personnel, and various internal business teams is also a key responsibility.
